Fans Welcome The Challenge As Dark Souls 2 Pre-Orders Are Up 50% Compared to Dark Souls


Looks like there’s quite a few willing adventurers out there looking for the challenge that Dark Souls 2 will bring. Fans of the series know that these games are not for the faint of heart. You will be spending countless hours learning a boss fight and your surroundings. MCV has released the reports for Namco revealing just how much was spent for marketing this upcoming game.

According to MCV, Namco has spent a whopping $1 million on marketing for Dark Souls 2. This is a ton of money that is being used to get the word out on the upcoming RPG title. Fans of the series will likely expect the same tortuous battles but if played long enough, the rewarding ending can be accomplished.

“We have everything going for Dark Souls 2,”said Namco Bandai product manager Gary Chantler.“The PR and community teams have been incredibly hard at work since the game was first revealed. They have been working like mad getting the game through the specialist and mainstream press channels.“

As of right now, Dark Souls 2 will be released on March 11th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America markets while Europe will be receiving the game on March 14th.
