The upcoming game titled Daylight, will be the first of many things for Zombie Studios.
Daylight will be the developer’s first psychological horror game, using Unreal Engine 4, which has been utilized by very few developers.
The Unreal Engine 4 will be used to make the game even scarier, not like any other horror game we’ve experienced before.
Jared Gerritzen, the Studio Director of Zombie Studios, was asked if the game is going deliver next-gen visuals of 1080p and 60 fps. He answered:
“Its our target, but 1080p is our first priority. Being the first UE4 game on the first cycle of the PlayStation 4 doesn’t give us the leeway that the last generation has with lesser known tech, some parts will have to have balance.”
There is still no word of ‘Daylight’ being released for Xbox One just yet. Gerritzen confirms the platforms that will be compatible with the game:
“Currently we have no plans to put Daylight onto platforms other than PlayStation 4 and the PC.”
Daylight is set to launch on April 8, 2014 for PS4 and PC.
We hope that Zombie Studios will deliver on their promise of better visuals and run the game at 1080p/60 fps. Keep checking back for more details.
