Dune Part II will have some new faces in the cast, including Christopher Walken as the Emperor.
The actor will be making an appearance as Emperor Shaddam IV, an integral character in the Dune book. An inspired choice, after his Weapon of Choice line “Walk without rhythm, it won’t attract the worm.”
Other new actors joining the cast include Florence Pugh and Austin Butler. Reports suggest Pugh will play the Emperor’s daughter Irulan. Butler will play Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, the nephew of Baron Harkonnen.

They will join Timothee Chalamet, who plays the lead role of Paul Atriedes. Javier Bardem, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard and Dave Bautista will all return in Dune Part II as well.
Dune was a huge success when it launched last year, and the sequel will provide a much-needed second half to the grand story. The sequel was confirmed just a few days after the first film came out.
It won six Oscar nominations, including cinematography which was very well-deserved. It also won for best original score.
Filming for the sequel begins later this year, and the film is expected to release in 2023. I, for one, can’t wait to see more sandworm action in the second part.
