Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd is joining the cast of The Mandalorian Season 3.
We don’t know much about his character, but we do know Lloyd will be guest-starring in some capacity. This means there’s another iconic franchise added to Lloyd’s career. He starred as Emmett Brown in Back to the Future, as well as Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
More recently, the actor has appeared in Nobody, the Bob Odenkirk action flick, and The Tender Bar.
Mandalorian Season 3
The third season of The Mandalorian is currently filming in Southern California. It’ll pick up where season 2 left off, with Pedro Pascal returning as the titular bounty hunter.

We don’t currently have a release date for the new season, but it’s safe to say we’ll probably hear a lot more about it after the Obi-Wan Kenobi series airs. That series is set to debut on May 25th, with Ewan McGregor returning as the popular character.
Season two of The Mandaloran was released in 2020 on Disney+, and was quickly followed up by The Book of Boba Fett. Star Wars fans have been treated to a lot of quality television, and hopefully that continues with everything else that’s in the works. We’ll have to wait and see how season 3 of The Mandalorian is shaping up, but the previous two are some of the best Star Wars entertainment out there.
