A second season is on the way, so make sure to catch up in the meantime.

4. star wars: rebels

Similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rebels takes place a decade later after Revenge of The Sith. As the show advances towards the events of A New Hope, Rebels depicts the terrifying Galactic Empire wiping out any remains of the Jedi Order as an emerging Rebel force emerges to fight back. Rebels received two spin-off TV movies and enjoyed a four-season run during its time on air. With several award nominations and wins under its belt, Rebels is a terrific experience.

If there is anything that the Star Wars franchise needs, it’s fresh direction. Thankfully, Visions has some of the most refreshing stories seen yet in this universe. With every entry taking on a vibrant form of animation, Visions shows us familiar concepts in a brand new light. Gorgeous to look at and all the more exciting to explore, Visions really is excellent.

2. Star wars: the clone wars

The Clone Wars animated show has long been hailed as the gold standard for the Star Wars universe. Not only is the show a lovingly crafted continuation of the prequels, but has spawned some of the greatest storylines in Star Wars history. With deep dives into the mind of Anakin Skywalker, Ashoka and more, this is essential Star Wars viewing. There is a lot to credit to the success of The Clone Wars, which is not to be missed.

The Mandalorian continues to go strength to strength, with season three of the show becoming one of the most anticipated Star Wars releases yet. Pedro Pascal is sensational as Din Djarin, accompanied by the whimsical wonder of Grogu. While the show still retains some of the usual Star Wars pratfalls (no more desert planets!), The Mandalorian retains thrilling writing, dizzying action and is a great addition to Star Wars lore.
