We all know that The Last of Us, a once PlayStation 3 exclusive video game, will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 in an updated remastered edition. Another game that Sony Worldwide Studios president, Shuhei Yoshida, could see getting the same treatment is the Uncharted series.
Yoshida was speaking to Eurogamer where he admits that a remastered edition of the Uncharted series could be plausible. During the talk, Yoshida states that Uncharted is one game series that fans often ask about for a PS4 HD release.
Nielsen reported that a good 32% of gamers missed out during a complete console generation. To further explain, this would mean that 32% of gamers who picked up the Xbox 360 never picked up the PlayStation 3.
Almost 50 per cent of people who have purchased a PS4 didn’t own a PS3, and that’s lots of people that missed exclusive PS3 titles like The Last of Us, so it’s a great way to welcome those people back to PlayStation, saying this is what you missed.
