The Sims 4 cheats are an easy way to spice up your own digital life. From money boosts to invincibility we discuss some of the best?
Throwing up the Sims 4 cheat console with Ctrl + Shift + C opens up a world of possibilities. And with a multitude of things to keep track of in the game, using this console can ease the burden. We’ve covered various cheats and unlockables in the past. However, now that it’s been some time, here are the five best Sims 4 cheats that allow you to live your best life.
MOTHERLODE: GET RICH QUICK

Any good sim game requires you to build up the necessary funds. Want a nicer house? Car? Maybe a pool out the back? And while it can be satisfying to steadily accrue enough money to get all of these things, some people like to cut to the chase.
If you are one of those people this Motherlode cheat will do the trick. While other cheats like “rosebud” or “kaching” will throw you a wee 1,000 simoleons, the Motherlode cheat goes above and beyond. By putting “motherlode” into the console you will recieve a hefty 50,000 simoleons. That’s nothing to scoff at.
MOVE OBJECTS: CRAM IT ALL IN

Designing your house in The Sims 4 is one of the game’s most fun elements. At least it is to someone like me who loves to move furniture around in my own living room. However, sometimes the grid-like placement of furniture can fail to capture the homely feel of your house.
With the aid of “bb.moveobjects on” players can tighten things up a bit. This cheat allows you to essentially place your furniture anywhere without having to worry about furniture borders. This means that you can pack everything a little closer, rather than leaving unnatural looking gaps. It allows your Sim to live in a homelier home, and who doesn’t want that?
HIDDEN OBJECTS: MORE TO BUY

With all that money you are raking in from the Motherlode cheat, you’ll want plenty of things to buy. This is where the “bb.showhiddenobjects” cheat comes in handy. By turning the it on players will be able to access hidden objects in the buy menu. This allows you to buy a ton of items that will add the finer details to your home.
Items include things like empty glasses, a toothbrush, or a bunch of apples. Partnered with the move objects cheat this can sell the image of a real lived in Sims home.
FILL MOTIVE: MAKE ME SOCIABLE

Sims are like real people. Sort of. With various mood bars, sometimes your digital avatar isn’t in the mood to have fun, or be sociable. And with more elements like hunger, hygiene, energy and even bladder to keep tabs on, the fill motive cheat takes a way a lot of the hassle.
By typing in “fillmotive motive_[mood]” with the corresponding mood in the final bracket, you will either fill or deplete that bar. Need a pee? This cheat means you’ll never need to pee again. Or if you are struggling at a party, you can suddenly become the life of it. This cheat makes you the ultimate puppet master.
Death: BE GONE

Amid all the chaos of money, house management, and mood levels, sometimes your Sim can meet an untimely demise. However, if you’ve become fond of one little Sim, the death toggle cheat can ensure that you never really need to worry.
Typing in “death.toggle true” will make your Sim unkillable. And that is about as much as the cheat needs explained really. You can earn money, party, and live your life in a care-free manner.
