Sony Reveals PlayStation Now May Include PS4, PS2 and PS1 Games

Sony Network Entertainment VP, Eric Lempel, spoke with Game Informer where he revealed that PlayStation Now can see some new updates and changes in the near future.

Speaking of PlayStation Now, Eric Lempel admits that the service is doing incredibly well. Gamers are enjoying the service and Sony is looking to see how they can make the service even better in the future. One of the ways PlayStation Now can benefit from is by adding PlayStation 4, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 1 video games.

In our plans going forward we’re looking at everything so there’s the real possibility that you’ll see PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 4 titles available.

One of the downsides to PlayStation Now is the price point. Fans were not too pleased to see some of the rental prices compared to how much the game would cost if they bought it outright. Eric states that Sony is still going through pricing but has not made mention of what the future of what PlayStation Now will cost in the future.

Subscriptions is another key element that gamers would like to benefit from. Eric revealed that Sony is looking into how subscription options will come to play and what type of content could be accessed.

We want to know, would you consider a subscription service on PlayStation Now if the service offered past generation console games?
