Rocket League Season 4 got an expansive new rocket pass over the weekend, with over 70 tiers of rewards for players to score their way through.
Rocket League adopted the seasonal service model last year with the launch of its first season. Season 1 saw the game go free to play, with a majority of its profits made through seasonal rocket passes. This model has worked in the favour of other live service games such as Warzone and Apex Legends.
Rocket League Season 4 is a western extravaganza with dynamite tyres (literally), cowboy hats and stylish skins. The latest season will run through until November 17th, so you’ve got plenty of time to get your goal-scoring cars kitted out with some new skins.

Score Goals Like AN OUTLAW
The latest season brings a whole bunch of new content, including the brand new Deadeye Canyon Arena. Season 4 also introduces two limited-time modes. Heatseeker is currently live and another mode that will combine “mutators, the speed of Boomer Ball without the wild bounces, demos on contact, and a fast respawn timer.”
The rocket pass will set players back 1000 credits, but Psyonix claim that it will take over 60 hours to work your way through all 70 plus tiers. Unlocking the rocket pass immediately grants players access to the Outlaw car skin.
However, for players who maybe aren’t sure, you can play your way through the battle pass without purchases it and then purchase at a later date. This means that if you reach a level with a skin you like, you can purchase the rocket pass and unlock every tier you’ve passed so far.
Rocket League Season 4 is underway now and is available to play across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
