Rocket League Season 5 has started across all platforms, and we’ve got a bunch of new content coming to the game.
Last season the game took us to the wild west, and this time we’re heading to outer space. Psyonix has shared a full rundown of all the new content in the game, and patch 2.08 brings a new pass, new cars and customisation.
The new Season 5 Rocket Pass includes 70+ tiers of items. It grants access to the new Starbase Arc: Aftermath map and a new Nexus car. This comes with items such as a Spacedirt paint finish, Hyperspace animated decal, and Cosmosis goal explosion. A final transformation will unlock at level 70 in the pass.
What Else Is New?
On November 18th, players can take part in a new limited-time game mode. It’s called Heatseeker Ricochet and promises to put a spin on three new Rocket Labs arenas (Barricade, Colossus and Hourglass).
Challenges are now live, allowing players to get new customisation items in the game. There’s some free stuff to collect, including a Happy Whale topper for your car. You can also get your hands on a Backfire Cruster Buster decal and a Crescent Moon antenna.
Tournaments have also been refreshed, so players can “become the best on the starbase” in a new series of competitions. The season will run from November 17th to March 9th.
