Robert Pattinson Wants The Court Of Owls In A Batman Sequel

Robert Pattinson has spoken out about which Batman villain he’d love to face off against in a potential sequel to The Batman.

In an interview with Den Of Geek, Pattinson was asked what he’d like to see in a potential sequel. This is what he had to say:

“I’d love to do something like Court of Owls. There are elements of The Batman which are kind of horror and I think it really feels quite new from Batman.”

Pattinson also said that he’d like to face off against Calendar Man at some point, using the characters story in The Long Halloween as a basis for the movie and character arc.

For those unaware, The Court Of Owls originated in a 2011 story arc written by Scott Snyder, with art by Greg Capullo. In that story arc, they were revealed to have been manipulating Gotham for years. They even had a heavy part in manipulating events that led to Bruce Wayne becoming Batman himself. Batman went through hell to defeat them, almost going insane as they attempted to break him. They use assassins known as Talons to help them get their way and kill anybody who disagrees with them.

Previously, The Court Of Owls has been adapted several times. They appeared in Gotham as an arc villain and will appear as one of the main villains in the upcoming multiplayer title Gotham Knights.

Beware the Court of Owls that watches all the time.
