PS4 System Update 1.52 is now Live

Sony has released a new  PlayStation 4 system software update 1.52. According to Sony, the new update will improve the system software’s stability.

For future reference, Sony stated to avoid waiting for software  update downloads, you should enable ‘auto downloads’ on your  PS4 and leave it in standby mode, that way your system will  automatically download any updates  that is available.

Other features that has been requested listed below. Hopefully we get to see those feature on the next update.

  • The ability to pause and prioritise downloads.
  • Notifications when friends come online.
  • Incognito mode for when you just want that solo session.
  • YouTube uploads.
  • YouTube app.
  • Some sort of organisation/folders on the XMB for your library.
  • Themes.

The file is only 323 MB in size. It won’t take that long to download.

Some off us were hoping for MP3 playback and DLNA support, unfortunately we will have to wait a bit longer. Have you updated your PS4 yet? Let us know below.
