PS Vita Slim announced by Sony, will arrive in U.K.

The PS Vita Slim, officially called PCH-2000 is actually a 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter version of the original PS Vita and Sony is ready for its launch in U.K. The price of this new hand-held gaming console will be approximately £180.

The slim version PS Vita was originally unveiled in Japan by Sony in September 2013 and was launched there on 22 October 2013. Currently only the black color model will be available for U.K. instead of the six colors available in Japan.

PS Vita Slim now comes with an LCD screen instead of an OLED screen used in the original, which gives longer battery life from the powerful 2210 mAh rechargeable battery.
