Pokimane is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, and in a recent stream on October 11th she showed off some new “tattoos” to her thousands of fans. Naturally, people were shocked to see one of their favourite streamers rocking some intricate new designs on her arm.
However, if you’re wondering whether they’re permanent or not, Imane “Pokimane” Anys hinted at the answer herself.
As she flaunted the flowery designs on her stream, she said “If they look real, isn’t that all that matters“, suggesting they might not actually be permanent. While she didn’t explicitly confirm anything, it was safe to assume they weren’t going to stick around forever. She definitely pulled them off though.
Temporary Tats
Sure enough, more recent streams gave us the answer – they’re not real. They looked pretty believable though, and if she hadn’t hinted at them being temporary I’m sure plenty of people wouldn’t have suspected it.
Pokimane is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, and a positive influence for other female streamers. She rose to popularity through League of Legends streams, before moving onto games like Fortnite and Valorant.
Recently, she had to clap back against people accusing her of being worse at Valorant than she actually is. After she reached Immortal rank some people said she was just being “carried”, comments that Pokimane called “braindead”. It’s bad enough that female streamers are subject to harassment and sexual comments, and now it seems that even while streaming as often she does, some people still don’t take women on Twitch seriously.
