In Pokemon Go, it is not possible to know how long a particular Pokemon is going to stay within the walking distance radius of a player. However, it would be a great boon for the players of the game if there was a way to find out the exact timings.
Reddit user weolmd has come up with a simple solution for this problem which might help the players who play Pokemon Go daily.

In his post he advised the players of the game to add a timer feature on all the sightings instead of guessing how long the Pokemon is going to stay in the user’s area. This simple trick could bring in a lot of positive change for the game.
Have a look a look at the image below, where he has used the simple, yet effective trick.

We hope Niantic takes note of this and implements it in a future update. Although it’s just a minor change, it can go a long way in making it far easier to catch Pokemon in the game rather than having players roam around aimlessly in search of the pocket monsters.
