The trailer for the fourth Avengers movie, Endgame, is officially here, and fans have been poring over each frame looking for any clues, hints or Easter eggs.
Amidst all of the understandable excitement viewers have been looking for any kind of subtle hints that could go some way in indicating what’s in store for the heroes in Endgame.

Given the unfortunate end many of our favourite characters met in Infinity War, fans have been left pondering their fate pretty much since the end credits rolled on this year’s blockbuster.
Now eagle-eyed viewers think they may have picked up on something in the new trailer which had previously slipped under the radar.
Groot was one of the characters to meet the same pixely end as 50% of the universe in Infinity War but fans think they may have spotted him sat in the back of Tony Stark’s space pod.

The Endgame trailer kicks off with Stark seemingly accepting his final hours as he records a touching goodbye message to Pepper Potts. It’s pretty heavy, so you’d be forgiven for not really paying much attention to anything else in the shot.

This is Marvel fans we’re talking about though, the ones who are capable of finding a deeper meaning in just about anything.

Perhaps it’s clutching at straws, but a few hopeful souls believe they may have spotted Groot alongside Tony.

The Endgame trailer has obviously broken records already. It became the most-watched trailer of all time within a 24 hour time period across its platforms, picking up a staggering 289 million views.
The record was previously held by the first trailer for Infinity War, which managed 230 million views in 24 hours. Before then, the recent adaptation of Stephen King’s It held the record.

Russo recently hinted that the running time for the movie is currently looking to be the longest Marvel movie by some way.
“The running time on Avengers 4 is currently sitting right at three hours, so we’ll see if that holds,” he said. “But it’s sitting right at three hours right now.”
