New Splinter Cell has been Teased By Sam Fisher’s Voice Actor

Rumours of a new Splinter Cell game has been circulating for a little while now with many people expecting to see the next game announced at last years E3. They were of course wrong, but we now have a little teaser from the voice actor for the franchises main character.

Luca Ward who has voices Sam posted a photo on his Facebook page which seems to hold the iconic Green lights that are on Sam’s helmet/headgear. Check it out below:

You can’t get much more clear than that, if you ask me anyway. To make sure that people know what he was referencing to he made sure to link to a YouTube video in the comments of the post. The YouTube video was a video of music from the first Splinter Cell game. This is of course no means confirms a new game is coming but I reckon we can read betweens the lines (or dots in this case) on this one.

Tom Clancy’s: Splinter Cell first graced our gaming screens way back in 2002 and most recently in 2013. Fans of the franchise have been begging for a game over the last few years, after 6 long years it looks like we are finally getting another game. There is, of course, no release date yet. We could be waiting another year before we get to play as our favourite assassin with green vision.

When asked about this an industry analyst, Michael Pachter reckons that we will be seeing a new Splinter Cell arriving in 2019 along with his prediction of seeing a BioShock in 2020.

There are also plenty of people saying that this could be a hint towards a cameo for the character in an upcoming AAA game, the Division 2.

We will have to wait and see what happens. I would love to see Sam Fisher grace our screens once again, sooner rather than later.
