Sony has announced that a Gran Turismo 7 specific State of Play is set to happen this later this week, the first of 2022.
Fans of the upcoming racing simulator will be overjoyed to hear that new gameplay will be revving onto our screens in a few days time. The first State of Play of 2022 will take place on Wednesday, February 2nd at 10PM GMT.
The announcement came via the official PlayStation blog. The short and sweet post reads: “The first 2022 State of Play arrives later this week, and we’re all revved up for just over 30 minutes of new PS5 footage and gameplay details for Gran Turismo 7.”
We’re just over a month away from the official launch of Gran Turismo 7. It’s lights out and away we go on March 4th for both PS4 and PS5. Early footage from the PS5 version looks especially impressive with stunning 4K 60fps visuals. Just be sure to clear some hard disk space for it – Gran Turismo 7 is set to clock in at over 100GB.
This latest iteration of the racing series is set to be a return to form with a much more serious approach. Hopefully, we can expect to see some excellent esports action pick up around this new entry.
