The Game Awards 2018 is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the year, and it’s just been confirmed that at least 10 brand-new games are expected to be announced at the event.

Geoff Keighley, the man, the myth and the legend behind some of the best annual gaming events, recently took to Twitter to confirm the news, saying: “We have such an incredible show coming together for next week.
“More than 10 new games will be announced for the first time during #TheGameAwards plus updates on existing titles too. We will share some teases in the days to come….”
Sharing a video clip advertising the event, Keighley explained that this year will be a celebration of “what we do well.”

The Game Awards 2018 will – according to Keighley – put a bigger focus on awards, the ever-popular live gaming orchestral performance and will expand on how you can vote for your favourite games – this time even using your Amazon Alexa to speak to the stream.

Although next to nothing is known about the games we can expect to see announced, Twitter definitely has its fingers crossed, praying for anything from new Nintendo Switch titles to Metroid information.

Reggie steps out and announces a new game. Then the following happens. “Geoff, you didn’t think we’d come all this way just too show that?” and then Metroid Prime 4 gameplay starts and the venue the show is at starts too collapse from the excitement of the crowd. – My Prediciton.
