The Last of Us Wins Outstanding Achievement in Writing

We posted not too long ago on the different video game nominations for the Writers Guild awards. With the mix off different titles under the Outstanding Achievement in Writing for Video Games section, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us came out on top. The PlayStation 3 exclusive game was a smashing hit and a must play if you have yet to pick up the title. Players take the roll of Joel and Ellie as they travel in a now post-apocalyptic world.

Within the mix of different titles nominated for the award, The Last of Us managed to come out on top over Batman: Arkham Origins, God of War: Ascensions, and Lost Planet 3. Accepting the award was creative director Neil Druckmann who has mentioned that he couldn’t be prouder of Naughty Dog. We’re thrilled to have seen this masterpiece of a game win the achievement and cannot wait to see just what Naughty Dog comes out with next.
