A job listing has been published by id Software which aims at recruiting experienced UI programmers having familiarity with id Software games, characters, brands and universes. The listing seeks programmers to work on “cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles”.
This suggests that the production house is probably working on a sequel to Doom, Rage or Quake.
According to reports released last year, Zenimax, id’s parent company, had decided to indefinitely postpone the release of Doom 4. However, id design director Matthew Hooper later announced that gamers can expect a lot when the game is officially released.
