If you love horror movies, then you may have been disappointed by the tirade of rubbish ‘scary’ content that’s being churned out lately. However, this new movie – The Hole In The Ground, looks like it might actually be what we’ve been waiting for.
Single mum Sarah (Seána Kerslake) take her son Chris (James Quinn Markey) to go and live in the middle of nowhere for some reason, but things soon take a terrifying twist after Chris falls down into a hole.
Clue’s in the name of the movie really, isn’t it?
But things just get creepier and creepier. Don’t believe me? Check out the trailer…
Okay, that old woman head-butting the car sh*t me up. But as you can get from the trailer, when Chris comes back out of the hole, it seems like he’s not actually himself.
The official synopsis reads: “Trying to escape her broken past, Sarah O’Neill (Seána Kerslake) is building a new life on the fringes of a backwoods rural town with her young son Chris (James Quinn Markey).”

It continues: “A terrifying encounter with a mysterious neighbour shatters her fragile security, throwing Sarah into a spiralling nightmare of paranoia and mistrust, as she tries to uncover if the disturbing changes in her little boy are connected to an ominous sinkhole buried deep in the forest that borders their home.”
You’ll be able to watch the movie when it hits cinema screens on Friday, 1st March.
