Hogwarts Legacy Might Be Shown At February Event, Says Leaker

It seems like we’ll be seeing more of Hogwarts Legacy very soon at a rumoured Sony State of Play event in February.

Harry Potter fans are eager to learn more about Hogwarts Legacy, and it seems that they’ll get their wish soon. According to known video game leaker, Tom Henderson, a PlayStation event is rumoured to be taking place in February. The game publisher would likely show off a bunch of upcoming games, including God of War Ragnarok and Final Fantasy 16. Both of those games are slated to release this year.

However, some gamers speculate that we’ll also see Hogwarts Legacy at this event too. A fan asked Henderson whether they have any news on the upcoming Harry Potter game. The journalist replied with a cryptic repeat of his previous tweet. We could take this as a clear indicator that he knows something we don’t.

When is Hogwarts Legacy releasing?

Hogwarts Legacy was officially unveiled in 2020, although its release date has been pushed back to a vague 2022 window. Fans are expecting the release date to be sooner rather than later. The developer of the game, Avalanche Studios, recently started hiring for a localisation producer. This is a good sign that the project is well on its way to releasing.

Sony is yet to officially confirm that a State of Play event will be taking place in February, so take this news with a grain of salt. If it does happen, though, we certainly hope we’ll see a certain magical trailer there.
