Today at Sony’s press conference at Gamescom, it announced that the next iteration in Polyphony Digital’s ultra popular driving sim will be coming to PS3 on December 6th, 2013.
Polyphony has made a unique deal with a number of leading automotive manufacturers and design houses. They car companies will create concept models and give polyphony unique insight into the future of the automobile section. They will take those designs and recreate them as working cars in Gran Turismo 6. They will release the cards from the 2013 to 2014 lineup as gifted DLC to owners of Gran Turismo 6 through online updates.
Polyphony is celebrating 15 years of Gran Turismo and they are doing so by looking to the future.
