Ex-girlfriend gets last laugh by getting dudes 10-year old Xbox Live account banned

Hey everyone as you already know but for those who don’t.

I’ll get straight into it, I’ve been banned permanently from Xbox live due to theft but there’s one huge flaw/problem. There was no theft, my ex girlfriend purchased me two games a couple of months back for my birthday via the marketplace. We’ve been broken up for 6 weeks and the last two days when I logged on the games she purchased had been refunded as disappointed as I was for that petty move by her I decided to make no fuss and just let it go. Then yesterday I receive notice I’ve been permanently banned due to theft… the issue here is the games were purchased off her card one time and then obviously she removed her card info from my Xbox after the purchase but how in the world do I prove this to Xbox and let alone contact them? They don’t have the help line like they used too… I’ve been a Xbox live member since 2006 (I’m 26 now for those curious) I’ve never had even a suspension before. I understand how this looks to Xbox but shouldn’t my clean 11 year record along with almost 3 months of having the games bought before she reported them stolen prove that this is not what it seems?

Who do I contact to lift this ban? I have text messages from my ex and I asking me what I want for my birthday if that’s proof I can maybe email them?

THIS IS JUST THE GIRL FROM THE THUMB. BREAKING UP THIS DUDES STORY WITH A GIRL WE ALL WISH WAS OUR CURRENT OR EX GF.

What do I do guys I need help.

Ex gf reported and refunded games she purchased for my birthday as stolen and got me banned permanently from Xbox

I do feel kinda bad for the dude but I am still also laughing at this whole situation.

Edit 1: currently on phone with Xbox looking to resolve the issue with tech support who are trying to get me in touch with enforcement
Edit 2: nothing can be done, they’ve seen my proof and tech support “feels bad for me given the proof” but enforcement has chosen to not let me apply for a review. I appreciate the support but it’s off to PS4 for me. Can’t justify investing more money into Xbox after this.
Edit 3: Support tech number 2 I spoke with said it’s impossible for them to even contact Enforcement with him saying and I quote “they’re like the CIA I don’t even know how these guys get hired, hekk I don’t even know where they work” not even kidding.. not even kidding… his words verbatim
Edit 4: Discord has commented in this thread saying they’re looking into it which in theory is awesome but just one problem… no one has asked me for my email, my gamer tag, or any kind of information… if you see this please DM me, I’m not sure how you can start a investigation with zero of my info. Also thanks to u/MasterChiefx343 for contacting discord. I’ll be sure to update when they ask me for my info
Edit 5: I’ve been contacted and Xbox now has my GT… now I wait..
Edit 6: a tad bit concerned they didn’t ask to see my transcripts/proof I have but I guess I understand that it doesn’t make a difference to them. Now I hope that my almost 12 years of loyal service to Xbox under my account proves to be enough for them.

Edit 8: DAY 2: Nothing new to report as of yet, back to lunch I go! See you all later tonight.
Edit 9: No one has gotten back to me as of it… let’s hope Day 3 brings progress
Edit 10: got an email from Xbox asking me validate the purchase made which seems to be an encouraging step… my account is still banned though as of Day 3 midnight hour.. will continue to update
Edit 11: Day 3… nothing new to report.. still banned
Edit 12: Still day 3 got a Xbox message on my phone but when I tried to open it my account back was still banned so I couldn’t… very strange… also they have yet to reply to the email for those curious in the original post.

These kind of acts should not be carried out.
