Anthem is the upcoming new IP from BioWare, and since it first got revealed it’s gotten fans really hyped for its release – which isn’t actually that far away now. Hooray!
The online multiplayer action role-playing game published by EA is about to start it’s closed alpha testing period.

According to EA [via Eurogamer], Anthem‘s closed alpha will commence on the 8th December, and will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
If you’re keen to give it a go, you’ll have to move quickly, as it’s only going to be available until the 9th December.

To secure yourself access you can sign up right here, via the EA’s Community Playtest programme. You’ll have until 3rd December to sign up, and you can only pick one device to play on.
Being an alpha test, it’s expected to see a lot of issues, with BioWare warning it’ll be “adjusting things like matchmaking and server load on the fly.”

Hey, it’s gotta be better than Fallout 76, right?

The closed alpha is going to be “more limited than what [BioWare] want to share in the pre-launch demos,” but it should give you a nice flavour for what we can expect.
Just watched the Anthem game play reveal again. Really excited to try that out
