Conan O’Brien on his ‘Clueless Gamer’ segment reviewed Grand Theft Auto 5 in his usual accidental irreverent fashion. I’ve seen quite a few of his reviews before, but I don’t think I’ve laughed as hard at any of them before as much as this one. Part of that is because he isn’t taking the strange behaviors that come up in video games that many of us take for granted to task. Instead they’re basically behaving like you or I would with a friend on the couch.
Though not being a gamer himself, or rather a clueless one, some of that has to do with not having the mastery of controls playing a game as complex as GTA 5. You can’t accept the mayhem being caused by someone else along with their reaction as anything but funny. Watch him have to play with four hands on the controller, fail by killing people he just met and his vendetta against a strip club.
