Capcom’s Plans For Remakes Could Include Dino Crisis


Capcom has been incredibly busy working on remastered, reworked and revamped versions of fan-favourite classic games. Games like Resident Evil 2 are getting the HD treatment, with a fully redesigned world and characters to modernise what’s lots of people’s favourite horror title.

It’s now being reported that Capcom isn’t going to let this nostalgia cash cow go to waste, as it’s planning to rework more of its back catalogue of classic games to bring to the masses. 

During an investor meeting, a representative for Capcom was asked what the company was planning for the future, with Capcom responding: “Regarding remakes and rereleases of titles in our back catalog, we expect to explore these further with a variety of properties as a part of our strategy to utilize our library of IP.”

One of Capcom’s most beloved games, Dino Crisis (and its sequels) has had fans begging for a remaster for years now, making it a likely choice for the next HD reboot.

Dino Crisis remaster is getting a lot of attention on Twitter, as fans cry out for the dino-shooting game to make a comeback, and even speculating that Capcom’s recent statement could mean one is one the way.
