Capcom Announces Resident Evil Remake

Resident Evil fans out there will have another new remake for the original title, Resident Evil. Capcom has revealed that this remake will be based off the GameCube remake and will add a few new little features that will help keep the flow of the game.

Today Capcom has revealed that a new Resident Evil remake is in the works. The game will bring a new 1080p HD version of Resident Evil that will be based off the 2002 GameCube remake. Set to launch on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC early 2015, Capcom has yet to make any announcement as to pricing.

Some of the new features being added this time around includes an updated camera. Now when your character walks off the frame, the camera will scroll to your location more fluently. Also, controls have been changed around. While original gamers who enjoyed Resident Evil back in the PlayStation days can still enjoy their “tank” controls, new gamers can select a modern option where controls will better suit to the games we’re use to playing today.
