Google’s back again with another April Fool’s Day novelty. This year, they’ve decided to bring back the Pac-Man feature for Google Maps.

Similar to their Pokemon feature for Maps on April 1st, 2014, Google’s interactive version of Pac-Man lets you play the game on the map of a city of your choice. It plays very similarly to regular Pac-Man except the boundaries are less defined than in the original.
Google paid homage to the classic game last year as well, but this year has new additions- Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde, everyone’s favorite ghosts.
There are certain areas that are better than others for playing Google’s version of Pac-Man. Locations such as the area surrounding the Taj Mahal and well-planned cities (like Savannah, GA) are great places to play around with Maps’ newest feature.

Hopefully Google will keep rolling out fun features like this for years to come- their April Fool’s antics are always a good time.
The game will probably be available on Maps for a few more days, so play it while you can!
