In a new post, the Call of Duty team has revealed the full pacific Caldera map set to launch with Warzone Pacific.
The new map has an entirely new set of POIs for players to explore along with a fresh coat of paint. It’s set to be a huge change from Verdansk, and now we know all the different areas we’ll be able to find in-game.
The team shared an overhead view of the whole map, along with all the different names of the points of interest on Caldera.
Points of Interest
As you can see, the new map has a lot of points of interest spread out across the island. This includes “Docks” which has a shipping container area reminiscent of the classic “Shipment” map.
There are all kinds of varied environments to explore, including ancient ruins, a dormant volcano and a phosphate mine. It looks like a lot of work was put into making sure each area was unique and interesting. It even has a military installation near the water named “Shark’s Lair”.
All these areas will be free for players to explore on December 8th when Warzone Pacific launches.
It definitely looks like a huge switch-up. This is a pretty exciting time for Warzone fans, though we don’t know exactly how this new map will shape up in comparison to Verdansk. Hopefully it will be just as good, if not better.
