The recent announcement for Diablo Immortal was…not great, to say the least, and Blizzard has been scrambling to recover ever since that fateful moment at Blizzcon earlier this month.

Fans were hoping and praying for a brand-new Diablo game, but instead got Diablo Immortal, the mobile game that nobody asked for.
Unfortunately, if you’re hoping that Immortal was just a temporary blip on the Blizzard horizon, you might be disappointed to learn that there’s going to be even more mobile games from the team.

Allen Adham, Blizzard co-founder has announced that mobile gaming could be the future, stating:
“Many of us over the last few years have shifted from playing primarily desktop to playing many hours on mobile, and we have many of our best developers now working on new mobile titles across all of our IPs. Some of them are with external partners like Diablo Immortal. Many of them are being developed internally only, and we’ll have information to share on those in the future,
“I will say also that we have more new products in development today at Blizzard than we’ve ever had in our history, and our future is very bright.” [via PC Gamer/Korean YouTube channel 리뷰빌런 하텍]

Before you completely wash your hands of Blizzard, it’s important to note that he also added that there will be a focus on PC games in the future, saying: “we still have multiple Diablo teams working on multiple unannounced Diablo projects…
“The future is bright. Stay tuned.”
