Ben Affleck has shown he’s great at writing, directing, and acting. Not so much at choosing tattoos. The press run leading up to this week’s release of Batman v. Superman has been tampered slightly by the glimpse of Affleck’s horrific colorful dragon tattoo.
Yes, the tattoo is still terrible, but at least it’s fake. The new Batman confirmed this in an interview with Extra‘s Mario Lopez.
“I actually do have a number of tattoos,” he said “But I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover-up … they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after a while.”

The tattoo was bad enough to warrant prompted responses from his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez (who roasted him on Andy Cohen’s show) and Jennifer Aniston (who simply said, “bless his heart” in an interview with Vanity Fair).
As for why Affleck is wearing such an ugly tattoo, it’s believed that it’ll show up in Affleck’s upcoming film, Live by Night.
