Ubisoft and New Regency are bringing out a featured live-action film of Assassin’s Creed. This isn’t information that is new, we’ve known for awhile that this film was in the works but now we have two new writers hired to look over the script.
Reported by Deadline, the live-action featured film based off of the Assassin’s Creed series will be re-drafted. Adam Cooper and Bill Collage have been hired to re-draft the film, these writers are also currently with another film project known as The General, based off of George Washington.
Previous writers have drafted the script which includes Scott Frank and Michael Lesslie. No details have yet to be released on the film but we do know that the lead character will be played by Michael Fassbender. As for now, the film is said to be released August 2015.
