If your Android apps are crashing, the most straightforward way to try to fix your app is through force stopping it.

  • Step 1: Navigate to Settings on your android device.
  • Step 2: Select Apps and then the app you want to force stop.
  • Step 3: Select Force Stop at the bottom of the apps settings page.

This should force stop your app, and then you can relaunch it. It’s like turning the specific app off and on again, which can fix issues.

If that doesn’t work, you should consider restarting your entire android device. If you have been using your phone for a prolonged amount of time, it can have issues and a massive restart will help it push through and work better.

You can do this by pressing down and holding the Power button until the options Restart or Power off appear. You will want to Power off your device, as restarting may not do the trick.

At this point, you have probably fixed your issues, however, if your apps keep crashing, you can try updating your phone.

  • Step 1: Navigate to Settings on your android device.
  • Step 2: Select Software Update and then Download and Install
  • Step 3: This will then check to see if an update is available. If so, select install and then allow your device to install and update.

If you are still having issues, you should consider uninstalling and reinstalling the app itself, which can reset it and clear any data that may be an issue. If this still isn’t working, check your storage and internet connection, to ensure that you have a good connection and enough storage to run whatever app you are struggling with. Hopefully, then, your Android apps will stop crashing.
