Chat being a major aspect of gaming in PS4, it is well and good that a headset comes bundled with the console. More so, as cross-game chat is being added as a new feature, the headset will be a welcome addition.

It will be interesting to chat with a friend who is playing Knack while you are playing Killzone, will it not?

As recently revealed by SCE Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, the light bar on top of the DualShock 4 cannot be either dimmed or turned off. This new revelation has sparked some concerns but is a easily fixable aspect for those who might face problems because it.

It’s all the same for me as I don’t like to play in total darkness for it to pose any threat to gameplay by reflecting on glossy screens. What about you?

[textblock style=”4″]4. PS4 lighter, DualShock 4 heavier[/textblock]

The PS4 weighs at just 2.8kg/98.7oz, almost half to that of the original 60 gb PS3 model which weighed at 4.9kg/172.8oz. On the other hand, the DualShock 4 is  a little heavier, courtesy the touchpad and light bar. The controller weighs at 210g/7.4oz compared to its predecessor’s 192g/6.8oz.

No complaints with the console; the lighter, the better. But will the weight of the DualShock 4 affect you in any way?
