Originally starting out as a project for long-time Mega Man fans to enjoy given the fact that Capcom is not currently doing anything new with the Blue Bomber’s IP, became over ambition and a disappointing end result.

While some were disappointed in the lack of communication by the developers, several criticized the game for its gameplay while several versions of the game were too broken to play (such as the Wii-U port), not to mention the reason Multiplayer feature, which was a reason why it was delayed one last time before it was released was still broken upon release with issues with frame rate drops, and glitches out the wazoo.
