Battlefield 1 single player campaign details leaked, only contains six missions

Following on from a number of other leaks, Twitter user txt231 has released just a little bit more information about the upcoming Battlefield 1, this time providing details about the game’s single player campaign.

The information txt231 leaked states that Battlefield 1 will have only 6 story mode missions in total. On top of that, they also apparently leaked the titles of these missions, which are:

  • Friends in High Places
  • Nothing is Written
  • Through Mud and Blood
  • Avanti Savoia!
  • The Runner
  • Epilogue

Now, there’s absolutely no confirmation as of yet from DICE as to the legitimacy of this new info. However, txt231 has been on quite the spoiler spree of late, with numerous tweets relating to elements of the game, which have thus far proven to be true.

Along with the missions, they’ve also released information regarding the list of achievements available in the game. The entries on the list seem to correlate with the previous mission information (possibly where they obtained it in the first place), and also reveal information regarding multiplayer elements in the game, such as the types of missions available.

It is important to keep in mind that txt231 states the achievements are from the developer version of the game, and therefore may be incomplete or changed upon release.

The new Battlefield 1 trailer has already blown people (and Infinite Warfare) away. The visuals and effects look amazing, and the WW1 setting looks like it will provide an (ironically) fresh experience for the franchise. Hopefully DICE will be revealing further information about the game at the upcoming EA press conference at E3 2016.

Battleifield 1 is set to be released on October 21st this year. Regardless of whether these new claims also turn out to be true or not, Battlefield 1 is undoubtedly set to be something epic.
