Ubisoft will be shutting down multiplayer and online services for 15 of its games this year, staring on September 1st 2022.
A post on their support page says “Closing the online services for some older games allows us to focus our resources on delivering great experiences for players who are playing newer or more popular titles.”
The company is shutting down services for games like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 3 and Rayman Legends.

Here’s a full list of all games that will no longer have multiplayer or online functionality following the shutdown in September, according to the Ubisoft post.
Anno 2070 – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
Assassin’s Creed II – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
Assassin’s Creed 3 (2012 Release) – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to downloadable content will be unavailable.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable on PC.
Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD – You will be unable to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable.
Driver San Francisco – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable on PC
Far Cry 3 (2012 Release) – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable on PC.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – The multiplayer for the game will be unavailable. To play the solo campaign, you will have to set your console into offline mode.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features. Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable.
Rayman Legends – You will be unable to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
Silent Hunter 5 – You will be unable to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable.
Space Junkies – As a multiplayer only title, you will be unable to play the game going forward.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist – You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
ZombiU – You will be unable to link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features.
