Ubisoft Reassures Assassin’s Creed Title For PlayStation 3


Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series is a popular franchise and if you haven’t upgraded to the PlayStation 4, you may be wondering if another Assassin’s Creed title will make its way on the PlayStation 3. The answer is, year, Ubisoft has reassured that support for the PlayStation 3 will continue from Ubisoft.

Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft head, has spoke during the company’s financial briefing. During the meeting, Guillemot spoke of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. More specifically, Guillemot spoke of the Assassin’s Creed video game series being supported still on the past generation consoles.

“We have not disclosed our play yet for the Xbox 360 and PS3 SKUs. However, we have made it clear that as a company we expect to continue supporting both consoles for the foreseeable future.”

From what is known, Ubisoft is bringing a current generation only Assassin’s Creed video game known as Assassin’s Creed: Unity. However, a rumored report of an Assassin’s Creed: Comet has been tossed around for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Ubisoft will likely express their interest of continuing support for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during this year’s E3. We may also even get a glimpse of both Assassin’s Creed titles during the big expo event.
