Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition definitely runs at 30FPS

Scot Amos, executive producer of Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that Tomb Raider Definitive Edition will run on both next-gen consoles at 30 frames per second.

Crystal Dynamics last month went on to say that they were “”still optimizing the game for both platforms and will be doing so until we release to manufacturing so that we get the highest performance possible,” which lead some to think that it was 60 FPS rendering game.

Amos cleared this by confirming that the game will run at 1080p and at 30FPS on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Tomb Raider : Definitive Edition is the revamped version with a lot more detailed Lara and the ambience of Yamatai Island where she faces the biggest challenge of her life – to survive.

Now if you have a doubt whether to buy this game for your PlayStation 4 or not, Amos has a quick reply to this, “It’s a question we get asked so much, our brand and marketing team actually put together an infographic to answer that. For us, we wanted the ultimate expression of our vision for Tomb Raider on last-gen for next-gen. For people who haven’t played Tomb Raider yet but who have a next-gen console – this for them to show off their console, to play a great game.”
