Before they showed off a trailer for the next Uncharted, Naughty Dog presidents trotted out one for their new story based DLC for The Last of Us called Left Behind. We see an post apocalyptic site that fits right in the game’s setting. A dilapidated merry-go-round and then a young black girl, Riley Abel, walks on screen before calling over Ellie.
It looks to be a prequel to the main game, possibly based off of the prequel comic that was put out by Dark Horse earlier this year. Riley was Ellie best friend from the school in the quarantine zone. The comic only shows them meeting and becoming friends. In the game we learn what happened.
Naughty Dog confirmed on stage that Ellie would be the playable character in the DLC and it would be her story.
