It’s been almost a whole three months since the last MCU miniseries on Disney+ wrapped up, making the drop of the latest Ms Marvel trailer a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. The first just-under-2-minute trailer is ready to watch right now, and teases a unique take compared to what we’ve seen from the MCU recently.
Fitting with the character of young Kamala Khan, Ms. Marvel looks to be portrayed as a grounded young adult story. As the teenage Captain Marvel fan struggles to come to terms with the development of her cosmic powers, she’ll also be to be trying to balance her personal life around school, friends, and family.
Created by British stand-up comedian and Loki writer, Bisha K. Ali, the American miniseries seems to be steering towards lovable teen comedy vibes. We’ll hopefully be seeing more of what’s to come before the series starts streaming on 8 June, but Ms. Marvel definitely looks promising, especially for those hoping for more MCU shows and films dipping into different genres.
