Reef Entertainment has revealed that they have acquired “console and PC Video games rights” for 1984′s The Terminator and 1991′s Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
They announced that they will be creating The Terminator games based on the licenses. The first video games will be “Terminators: The Video Game”
Down below we provide you a brief statement about The Terminators from Reef Entertainment:
“Here at Reef we are huge fans of 1984 & 1991 Sci-Fi action master-pieces” a Reef spokeperson said in a statement. “It’s an incredible opportunity and an equally huge responsibility to create a game that does great justice to the motion-pictures. We are studying all aspects and influences of the Terminator universe defined in Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. We have started on our journey and are drawing on all the diverse materials available to produce a high quality, authentic and exciting Terminator video game.”
This has become more like a habit for reef, to acquire licenses through the ’80s old action films considering they’re also responsible for developing Rambo: The Video Game and its due for later this year.
