Do you recall the days of the big music genre push? Everyone tended to the latest releases in Rock Band and Guitar Hero. They were the perfect party video game after all. Though it’s been a long time since we’ve seen either title release and even longer since we’ve seen the plastic guitars and drums come packaged with the game. That’s about to change according to Harmonix.
Harmonix’s CEO Alex Rigopulos has spoken with GameReactor in which he spoke of the Rock Band video game series.
We think about it all the time because we love Rock Band, and we’re waiting for just the right moment in the new generation of consoles to bring it back.
While the development studio is interested and plans to bring back Rock Band in full force for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, the real question is, when will the next game release?
Someday, when the time is right, we will want to bring it back.
