The voice actor for the iconic Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil Village has expressed that she’d like to be in God of War, amongst other games.
Maggie Robertson rose to fame last year after her exceptional performance as everyone’s favourite tall vampire. She went on to win the award for ‘Best Performance’ at The Game Awards 2021, solidifying her as a video game voice actress icon.
In an interview with GameByte, Maggie Robertson dived into her experience as an actor post-Resident Evil. She was asked what her dream video game project would be, and her response will have you willing it to be true.

“There are so many cool worlds that have been built,” Robertson starts. “I think God of War is really cool. Personally, I’m a big fantasy nerd – I grew up reading fantasy books and that was my niche. So anything that skews more that direction, I am so here for.”

Resident Evil meets God of War?
Robertson goes on to also name drop Horizon Zero Dawn and even Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice as other projects she’d love to work on. “Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice was the most stunning game I’ve ever seen. I told myself I was only going to watch a few minutes of the cutscenes to get an idea of it. And then I sat down and watched the whole four hour YouTube video. I could not look away, it was so beautiful.
“The way that they built that character, the way they’ve talked about mental health and taking the players through that experience with her is so cool. I’d love to be part of projects like that, the ones that are really breaking down boundaries and showing life through different lenses in a really immediate way.”
I can certainly imagine Robertson nailing a character in any of these games. There’s no word yet on which other projects she’s working on, but we can’t wait to see what’s next for her.
