Sony’s PlayStation 4 will be releasing next year in Japan, signifying Sony’s focus on the western market with its next-gen console. Sony cited the delay as being the reason to ensure that all western releases for the PS4 got localized before the console hit Japanese markets.
The console is going to be priced at 38,980 ($390) without a PS Eye and 43,980 ($440) with it bundled together.
It’ll release as a “Limited Pack” including a download code for Knack and one year extended warranty for the console. The limited pack will be available both with or without the PS Eye bundled together and is exclusive to the Japanese market. However, only the initial batch of consoles will fall under this deal.
