Player finds all 900 Korok Seeds in Zelda, unlocks bizarre reward

Have you been picking up every Korok seed like a good little adventurer? Good things come to those who are patient and diligent, at least sometimes…

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild there are 900 little seeds scattered around for you to find. The last one took HOURS to track down, this is no small task. Surely you’d expect a great reward for all of your troubles, right? Well, if you go see Hetsu after collecting 900 Korok seeds, something happens.

What is it, you might be wondering? Do you really want to spoil the surprise? You could spend a week trying to to collect them all for yourself, suspensefully waiting to see what you win… or you can keep scrolling to find out what the … interesting prize is.

It’s poop. Just poop. I mean, it’s nice enough as far as poop goes, but poop none the less. Is this Nintendo’s way of criticizing the amount of time people spend collecting all sorts of items?

You’d expect to be rewarded a bit more for your hard work and all of that searching, and some gamers are upset that the reward is just bathroom humor.

How would you feel if you collected all of the seeds, turned them in, and all you got was dung? Maybe the lesson is that it’s all about the journey, and not the reward, because how much would it really change your life if they gave you some other token instead of this one?
