Sony has revealed some new details for the recently announced PlayStation 4 console.
Sony’s president Shuhei Yoshida confirmed to Polygon that the new console would not support the current Dual Shock 3 controller. This is because the new Dual Shock 4 controller has a lot of added functionality. He said: “No, [the PlayStation 4] doesn’t support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move.”
As you can see, he confirmed that the PS Move can still be used with it.
This shouldn’t be too surprising since the new console will feature cutting edge new tech and it won’t be possible to apply them with the older controller.
