More PlayStation Movie Adaptations Could Be On The Way

The new Uncharted movie is now out worldwide, and it comes with a brand-new PlayStation studios logo in the spirit of the Marvel Studios logo, complete with inspiring fanfare and a final fade into the PlayStation logo.

As you can see in the video below, the new logo features Aloy (Horizon), Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Jin Sakai (Ghost Of Tsushima), Joel and Ellie (The Last Of Us), Kratos and Atreus (God Of War), Astro (Astro’s Playroom), Sackboy (Little Big Planet) and the crew from Ratchet & Clank. Not that I needed to tell you which games these characters are all from!

As of right now we’ve had films for Uncharted and a oft-forgotten film adaptation of Ratchet & Clank. However, the existence of this logo seems to heavily imply that Sony want to make movies/TV shows out of all of these titles as soon as possible. Several are already currently either in post-production or in development currently.

We already know that The Last Of Us is getting a series on HBO this year. The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal is playing Joel and Game Of Thrones star Bella Ramsey is Ellie. The series will be ten episodes long with it expected to release later this year.

There’s also a film adaptation of Ghost Of Tsushima coming at some point that has Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick movies, attached. The project currently doesn’t have any actors shortlisted for the role of Jin Sakai.
